Home made spicy tteokbokki 🙂by krntr23 1 Comment krntr23 3 years ago If you’re curious, here’s me making it, along with the recipe 😀[https://youtu.be/eDld67M-W2w](https://youtu.be/eDld67M-W2w) **Tteokbokki**tteok (Korean rice cakes) – 2 cupseomok (Korean fish cakes) – 2 or 3 sheets (sliced)500ml water plus a bit more while cookingcabbage, sliced (optional) – 1 cupmozerella cheese (cheese strings x2 in this video)green onion – 1 large stick (sliced)hard boiled egg – 2​**for the seasoning sauce:**gochugaru (extra spicy in this video) – 2 tbspgochujang – 1 large tbspsugar – 1 tbspsoy sauce – 1 tbsp​1. Soak the tteok in warm water to soften while you prepare everything else (like hard boiling some eggs)2. Combine the sauce ingredients in a small bowl3. Put 500ml water into a large pan and add the tteok. Heat until bubbling and turn down to medium4. Add the eomok and any other veg you have chosen to use5. Cook for a 5 minutes adding water whenever the sauce gets too thick6. Add the green onion (and cheese if using)7. Stir, and cook for another 2 minutes8. Garnish with sesame seeds and a boiled egg9.
