I made this last week, but I still wanted to share my Tuna Melt!

I don’t cook often (out of sheer laziness) so some of the measurements here are guesses.

-8oz can of tuna (mine was in water, but I don’t believe it matters)
-cheese (mine happened to be a block of cheddar cheese, but do what your heart desires)
-tbsp of cream cheese
-tbsp of butter or margarine
-sandwich bread

So I had most of the ingredients for a tuna melt. Most recipes called for mayo. But because I don’t like mayo, I don’t own it. I knew I needed a creamy substance of some sort, so here’s how this went:

-melt the cream cheese and butter together. Mix well.

-drain the tuna; add the cream cheese concoction to the tuna. Mix well.

*Surprisingly, this can make 2 sandwiches, maybe even 3!*

-spread tuna mix onto bread, then add a layer of cheese on top

-toast sandwich however you choose.

This was done with a Mini Sandwich Maker *(Walmart, about $10)*. You may also use an air fryer or the stove. I’m sure any way would be as delicious as this was!

Bon appetite!

Oh man. People make fun of gadgets like the George foreman grill, ( mine broils and also has a waffle ironplate and what they call a lasagna plate which just means it has sides and a temperature control knob.) Or those dash mini griddles/mini waffle irons but they are life savers if you are single and don’t want to heat up a whole kitchen.

I make little mini crepes and chickpea crepes on my griddle, and I waffle so much on my little waffle iron. and the foreman in my can’t have a grill lease is a godsend in the summer. Plus clean up is easy.

I’m not a fan of hot tuna but I like your solution to I hate mayo problem, very creative.
