    Having spent quite a lot of time eating and drinking in the markets of Thailand, the last thing I think I’d ever order is a plate of raw fish.

    My wife grew up in Chiang Mai, and we’ve eaten many amazing meals from the markets there. Sushi? Hell no. Never. We don’t even eat pre-cut fruit, because you don’t know what water was used to wash the knife. Raw fish? Don’t eat this.

    I love this!!! Early sushi (at least in the form we know or today) was fast food served at street stalls
