I’m going to the Long Beach Grand Prix next week for my birthday and would love some restaurant recommendations that are as close to the track as possible, ideally within walking distance. I’m staying next to the circuit and traffic that weekend will be a nightmare. I’m not big on seafood but other than that I’ll take anything into consideration that isn’t obscenely expensive. Just want something in the area that’s a little more unique/upscale than Yard House/Islands/CPK/Outback/etc. And I’ll definitely need to make a reservation. Thanks!

Ammatoli on 3rd has great Levantine (eastern Mediterranean) cuisine, it’s an all day place.
Pine Street has good stuff – The Carvery and Bo Beau come to mind. Also check out the Promenade – Michaels Downtown and The Ordinarie are both excellent.
