Finally visited Doubting Thomas in Filipinotown. I’ve been seeing their cakes on Instagram for a while. The cake was amazing and so was the croissant. But the espresso old fashioned! Good strong coffee, with a citrus syrup and I think bitters? It was amazing and so refreshing. Cut the sweetness of the cake nicely. They have an extensive food menu and they’ve been posting about house-smoked pastrami so next time I see that I’m heading over. Parking is kinda tough but it’s worth it.
