Connie & Ted’s would be my traditional pick, and Son of a Gun for fancy but expensive/small

The ad right below your post says “solve real world problems “, I’ll let them know you already took care of that.

I love that place, but prefer their “Clobster” roll (half Crab, half lobster).
Don’t sleep on their clam chowder. It shaves years off your life, but it’s delicious.

Broad St Oyster Co (in Malibu, and also at Smorgasborg and Grand Central) is a very solid option

Me.
I’m from Cape Cod. I’ve lived in LA (west side) for 20 years now. If I want a lobster roll, I drive my fat ass over to Santa Monica Seafood and get a pound of chilled lobster meat. Get yourself some brioche rolls at Whole Foods, go home and make yourself a lobster roll. I live in Palms, and I’m not paying Lobster & Beer $30 for a lobster roll that size when I can make like 3 for the same cost. It’s literally just lobster, mayo and lemon or lobster and clarified butter, it’s not molecular gastronomy, so I honestly can’t understand why people go to restaurants for lobster rolls.

Broad Street Oyster Co. their LA location is at Grand Central Market and it is 100% the best lobster roll I’ve had in the area
