A lot of drivers go to Iron Works since it’s by all the hotels. If not there, they go to Franklins for pickup or Blacks.

Speaking of BBQ – went to Louie’s Craft BBQ trailer in Buda – 2x last week. I was pretty impressed. Brisket was very good (Franklin’s still slightly better). Ribs (only on Sat and Sun) were solid – had a brown sugar rub on them. Mac n Cheese was really good. Mexican Corn was ok – too salty and had some taco-like seasoning on them I didn’t care for. They marinate red onions and give it to you as a side – those ROCKED! It’s the little things I guess. The BBQ sauce is okay – a bit on the sweet side of things. Overall very respectable. They also serve shredded pork, turkey, 2 kinds of sausage. Sausage was ok – was a bit dry. Jalapeno Cheese good. The Brisket Taco was solid.
