Majordōmo has to be one of the best restaurants I have tried in LA. To all the haters: the rice dish is expensive but it is one of the best things I have ever had in my life. I’ve even tried to recreate it at home and don’t think I have the necessary equipment. It is truly delicious and actually feeds several people as an appetizer.

Have not been to Majordomo, but have been to an array of Momofuku’s joints in NYC and Vegas. Felt they were all overrated. But I want to try that rice now…

I’ve never tried majordomo since the menu doesn’t seem that great especially if you’re going for two. The 2 most popular entrees (bo ssam and short rib) are huge portions and pricey. Every other dish on the menu looks and sound very okay. If they made a choice for a smaller portion of the short rib I would consider going but for now its just near the bottom of the list of restaurants I want to visit.
