At Lawrence & Pharmacy, there’s also Shawarma Empire, Ghadir, and Kunafa’s.
I can never decide which place to go, so always end up with a falafel wrap from both Shawarma Empire and Ghadir. Shawarma Empire’s has crunchier fresh fried falafel, loaded w veggies, on a fluffier thicker pita. Ghadir’s is saucier, with a nice crispy thin flatbread. Always a conundrum.
Kunafa’s has two different types of their namesake dessert, but I love their walnut baklava — probably one of the least sweet baklavas that I’ve had, but looking forward to trying some from Crown Pastries for comparison.

Kathy’s Grill. Great chicken souvlaki on a pita for around $10 by Kennedy and Lawrence.
