The outlet store in Richmond Hill is usually cheaper than the grocery stores.

  2. Sanremo but it’s in the west end on Royal York south of the Queensway.

the pastry case at pusateri has excellent cakes from bakeries across the city

  5. Fornagator

Serano Bakery in East York has reasonably priced, delicious cakes. I highly recommend their Nutella cake!

For the ones that don’t want cakes that are too sweet, Dessert Lady.

Bakery Gateau – their fruit cake is the perfect balance of sweetness

Bloomers makes amazing cakes. They’re vegan and I only ordered them because my best friend is vegan, but even if she isn’t around I’d buy them! They’re amazing.

Cake basket from metro on toogoodtogo. $10. Your welcome. Lol

  11. Francesca bakery in Scarborough has the best strawberry sfoglia cake (if you’ve never tried this style of cake you’re missing out!)

With all due respect, the bakery scene is pretty sad here in TO. Most of the cakes look dated, if you check out bakery pages from around the world, Toronto cakes are far behind in flavours n designs.

I love how la Rocca tastes though but it’s nothing to write home about.

Even the best bakeries here aren’t selling anything unique.

You have to try Lale bakery in etobicoke so good

For chocolate we like Barbershop the best. For carrot, similarly Bakerbots is the best. There are other places with great cakes, carrot and choc are just our go-to’s.

After trying Chocolada cakes you will never go back to LaRocca

Sinful Desserts in Burlington is amazing!!! 5/5 Stars

All fresh ingredients and made from scratch European style cakes, desserts, and more.

La Rocca and Dufflets are all semi-factory made, definitely decent but there is better out there.

There is nothing special about chocolate cakes. If you get some really good and fresh fruit cake let’s talk!!

Bruh, that cake is identical to the ones at Metro (I don’t live in Toronto, but I’m pretty sure you guys have Metro; if not, it’s literally just a generic grocery store).

Gerhard’s bakery and Cafe in Scarborough.

Amadeus hands down. They have perfected their mousse. The flavours are great. It’s also visually appealing.

Asian bakeries have the best cakes for the best prices. I love mango cakes, they are so pretty, not overly sweet, and a good price for what you’re getting.

  27. Ditaxina

Their Red Velvet cake is my favourite, it’s our go to.
