  1. Haven’t been here in some years now and forgot this place is actually super legit. Delicious creamy chicken broth, tasty chashu and toppings, the texture and sauciness of the noodles really hit different from my other favorites. My wife had the Nostalgic Japanese Shio which has lighter but still surprisingly tasty refreshing broth. This really hit the spot on this -18c evening. This place easily rivals anything in the 3-5 spots of my current top 5 (Santouka, Isshin, Ikkousha, Midori, Sansotei) and we definitely need to come back here more often to try some of the other bowls.

  2. Still one of the best ramen joints in the city

  3. Its good, but anyone find the amount of sesame overbearing?

Literally was there this afternoon, got the Rich Shio but their black garlic oil shio. Broth was incredible.

Favorite bowl from my favorite ramen spot. I get it with extra pork chashu and some garlic and shallot oil on the side. Very few foods in this city satisfy my soul like a bowl of Ryu’s Rich Shio on a cold day 😌.

This is the exact bowl I get when I go and it’s what keeps me coming back for more. One of the best ramen bowls in the city.
