Breaking news: local Chinese takeout gave me too much food. This was $9. Happy Plus in Highland Park.

That’s some real value considering Big Mac meal cost $12 nowadays

Happy Plus is solid, don’t sleep on the a la carte dishes as well. Their salt pepper fish and wings are super tasty. You can also order your a la carte fried rice spicy and they will add a good amount of chili oil to it!

Damn looks fucking good! Thinking about hitting up the Chinatown Express on Western and 3rd now. That place is so grimy I love it

How did it taste? 9 bucks isn’t a good value if it’s average food

Well…. I’m convinced.

That’s the way it should be, the other places give to little for too much money.

When I was growing up that probably would’ve been a $5 special.

Combo A in Echo Park is superior! Admittedly a little more expensive though.

They’re going to ruin our local Chinese food spots, there is NEVER too much food when you’re going to places like that

[Happy Plus](https://www.yelp.com/biz/happy-plus-chinese-restaurant-los-angeles) is ridiculously solid Chinese-American for the price. You get their biggest to-go thing for $12 and that’ll give you enough food for 2-3 meals. All the dishes are well-made, especially the jalapeno chicken IMO and the veggie chow mein, which most to-go joints typically treat like an afterthought. H+ makes them super-bouncy and garlicky.

RIP Super Panda China Buffet. Surprised it lasted as many years as it did, their website is somehow still live: http://www.superpandaca.com/
