I gotta say they are a slight step up from Fat Dragon and owner is very nice – so many dishes I want to try. Jumping Fish Dish was phenomenal – very light, flavorful, not spicy, awesome broth. Mapo Tofu had good spice made your tongue tingle, great flavor, best I’ve had in years

I had the jumping fish and the mapo tofu last time I went in and both were so good. Hot and sour soup might be some of the best I’ve had as well

That’s a great place. I love both of those dishes. I also love the Beef and Ox Tongue in Chili Sauce, the Dry Pot Cauliflower, and the Lamb Cabbage Pot.

Recently moved north to the Tech Ridge/Parmer area and this has become our go to Chinese food delivery spot.
Highly recommend the spicy pork ribs and the Mongolian beef.

It’s the best Chinese food I’ve had since moving to the Austin area. I drive there frequently from Georgetown. I agree the hot and sour soup is excellent. It’s just a bit too sweet, but the spice level is awesome. I’ve enjoyed everything I have ordered there. I’m still trying to encourage the owner to do Kung pao chicken with white meat chicken as an option. no luck so far.

From a Chinese perspective this restaurant is ok but a bit too oily, and for someone from Sichuan it’s not spicy enough (at all).
If you are looking for a highend Chinese restaurant the only one in Austin entering that bracket is the Bamboo House on N Lamar

Their mapo tofu was okay, but I still prefer A+A.

The green beans and cumin lamb are also really good

I love the jumping fish at Sichuan river. Seven spice also has great sichuan food. Their pickled long bean with minced pork is one of my favorites.
