    As for the cabbage, I like to put some in soups and salads.

    As for the banana, give it a few more days and that banana would make a good banana bread, if you got one or two more.

    Ever had coleslaw made from a freshly picked cabbage? If not then try it, it’ll be the best coleslaw you ever had

    Cut into julienne/strips and cook down. Add some red wine vinegar and brown sugar and salt and a little bit of pepper. Makes a nice side.

    If you have excess cabbage try you hang at pickling some makes great in a halloumi wrap or on burgers or salads plus will keep for a good while

    Ohhh they’re the best for a crunchy salad!

    – finely cut your cabbage into strips like you would for sauerkraut or coleslaw
    – add 1% salt by weight and knead the cabbage to distribute & soften
    – add some olive oil, sesame oil
    – add chili powder/flakes & pepper
    – add toasted sesame & pumpkin seeds
    – add feta cheese & minced dates
    – let sit for at least an hour to soak through
