Mayura is fine but Annapurna literally down the street is so excellent.

Mayura serves Kerala food but not really close to authentic … in fact none of the Indian restaurants are any good in the socal region , Bay Area has much better options

I really like Mayura. The thing that blew my mind when I ate there was how empty the dining room was but the flow of takeout orders was absolutely insane.

It seems there is an 85+% overlap between the menu of Mayura and Annapurna. Most of the dishes are standard North Indian (curries to naan) or Southern Indian (dosas to bisibelebaths). Not sure there are more than 10 Kerala specific items in Mayura, but I would love to be educated on what defines Kerala cuisine.
