Looks excellent. I am Indian and always looking for modern takes on the cuisine. Curious if anyone has dined there and any standout dishes. https://www.blogto.com/restaurants/curryish-tavern-toronto/

I’ve had it recently. It’s pretty good, the concepts are unique and interesting but the execution could have been better. Overall it’s still solid, but it’s definately aiming at more western culture, if you’re going there expecting very Indian food you might be disappointed but going in with an open mind and it’s a nice treat. I’d definitely go back to try more dishes and the owner/chef is a nice dude.

It’s definitely a modern take, although there are still some more classic dishes like the Biryani. I thought it was great personally, big focus on local veggies/meats.

Thought it was very good. Would have preferred bolder flavors but the inventiveness made it worthwhile. The chef also came out and spoke with us and he was very nice.

Might I suggest trying Mumbaikar

Was there a few days ago. The main dish we had was an authentic blend of Indian and Italian style cooking – didn’t try too hard to be either or. Worth a visit
