They’re there everyday from 3pm until midnight, cash only. Besides tacos al pastor, they also serve burritos. Looking forward to trying that next time.

I’m not sure what their business name is or if they have an online social media presence, but it’s honest-to-goodness local street tacos that’s worth supporting 👍

EDIT: looks like they also serve fire-grilled asada. We went at 11:30pm so only the tacos al pastor was left. Definitely worth going earlier in the day for more options.

They have been posted on here before – but they also grill the asada on a fire pit before holding it and tossing it on the hot top. Man I do the Culver City > Weho trip daily and this is the best spot to fend off traffic. Great guys, great food and beats the hell outa the CVS stahl across from the Beverly Center. These guys get tipped more than the price. Really that good.

This place is the greatest – unless they changed their prices recently it should be $1.50 each!

Best thing that’s happened in our neighborhood in a long time!

I would also strongly urge you guys to try the spot in front of the Whole Foods in Venice. My fav tacos in LA. The sauces are fire, and both the pastor and the brisket tacos are amazing. Definitely get the brisket.

lol was coming here to search for some lowdown on the trucks on Venice Blvd and this post was on the first page, no search needed. Looking forward to some asada!

Gonna hit this truck tonight before catching the train to the LAFC game. There are a few others on that line up nearby on Venice, so may give a few a try. I feel like I saw one that calls itself “Mexican sushi”…?

Ahhhh yes the disrespectful onion to cilantro ratio is present

  8. Is the meat sliced off the trompo directly into the tortilla or is it chunks that get reheated on the flattop? Those prices don’t look thin sliced and have the outside char when it’s sliced fresh.

Awesome. Got my dinner plans for tomorrow night!
