I wasn’t aware that Detroit style used special cheese. So this is a specific cheese used on that pizza?

I used to wonder how people could be so careless as to make a typo in their original post… 🤦🏻‍♂️

  3. Hell yes! I’ve looked for this a few times before and could never find it, aside from paying way too much to order it online. Looks like I’ll be stopping by Central Market soon!

  4. You can get brick delivered from Widmer’s there in Wisconsin. Order in the winter, freeze some for the summer. Nothing beats “fresh” cheese straight from the source.

Get some eggs and beer while you’re there.

Antonelli’s usually has it too. The recipe book I have recommends Muenster if you can’t find Wisconsin Brick. It works well!

50/50 or 70/30 is completely acceptable to get brick flavor in your detroit pizza without spending a ton, fwiw.
