Where can I find blueberries packaged in carton instead of plastic?

  1. Nowhere. There are no blueberries being grown commercially here. All blueberries in Austin came from far away.

You’ve been posting here a lot, asking what I assume are well meaning questing with just zero thought put into them. Have you googled any of your questions? Do you understand anything about how food/supply chains/seasons work? I feel like you need to be doing some very basic research rather than asking piece by piece in the Austin food sub.

I only know of one local grower of blueberries in the area and he isn’t selling at the farmers market now.
But even when he was it was a two week window and they would sell out within an hour.
Not a lot of fruit grows around here. We aren’t really warm enough for citrus and not really cold enough for apples and such.

Go to any farmer’s market in California.

Hey where can I buy a sack of assholes? Not like the plastic clamshell, but like, an organic burlap sack or them? I’m reducing my evolutionary footprint.

What’s wrong with recycling the plastic carton? Are you concerned about the plastic chemicals leeching onto the blewbs?
