We turned an unused slope into a terraced vegetable garden.
Then we planted it up.
Our land is terraced with schist stone walls, so these are like mini terraces within terraces.
We used natural materials and worked with the slope of the earth to create new vegetable beds.

Past experience has shown that having our veggies as close as possible (nearby) to the house will make things easier in the future.

  1. Love it.. Stay healthy you two. Looking forward to the next one. Incidently, what do the purple spuds taste like? I'm interested to know. It's raining in Rochdale too.

  2. Have you thought about dipping your cut seed potatoes into woodash? It prevents rot. Or you could just shovel ash into the rows and then plant your potatoes.

  3. Such energy you two have. That's such a beautiful garden. Thank you for another lovely video. I love seeing your dreams and visons come to life.

  4. You are charming, very motivating, your garden is beginning to be very beautiful this summer, it will be very productive, I admit that you inspire me.
    keep it up couple

  5. That succession of mini terraces looks beautiful. Also, has no one ever told you two how to be old? You're meant to be sitting around doing crossword puzzles and spreading misinformation Facebook, not wrestling ottoman-sized rocks and using olive trees as a luge run for your secateurs. 😉🤣🤣

  6. Then sun en the birds, so beautiful. I m also a bit jealous how quiet it is at your place. Greeting from the Netherlands

  8. Love seeing your garden and everything you are up to. Of course I envy you being able to plant in the ground. Where I’m at there is plenty of space but there are only rocks. So I must build beds.
