Look up the Oregon trail starter. All you have to do is send them a pre addressed envelope and they will send you as piece of starter thatβs 150 years old!

I think Sanford Sourdough in Round Rock sells their starter.

I think Lakeline farmers market might also sell starter?

I have a healthy starter! PM me and I can give you some of mine
Bring an empty jar to my north Austin home. (Seriously, PM me if you want some).
Mine started from a mail order from a SF bakery. You can order from Amazon. It takes a few feedings to get going. Getting some from me is much faster.

I bought the “Breadtopia Live Sourdough Starter” off Amazon and followed the steps (they ask you to go their website for directions and there is an instructional video). Worked really well and I have a mature starter which I have been using for a few months now
