Rudy (Best of the smash burgers)
Apache (for that old school vibe)
Burgers Priest (if you want a solid chain/franchise burger)
The Bullger (for the best pub burger)

That’s good to start me thinks

    McDonalds. Kidding, lol.

There’s no consensus yet on here but I’m also curious for when I visit Toronto again.

Zeal Burger. It’s worth the trip to Weston.

Cabanos for a traditional smash. Harry’s charbroiled for a chorizo (red burger) or lucky burger for a onion and mustard animal style clone

  6. A block north of Steeles on Yonge.

    Golden Star’s Homemade burger.

Get it with bacon, fried onions, fried mushrooms and a fried egg.

The Wren on the Danforth. Featured burger almost every day and their on menu options are always good

Same answers every time this is asked:
Rudy, Richmond Station, Burger Drops, Harry’s charbroiled

Ozzy’s Burgers in Kensington is quite good. And Shamrock burger in Scarborough if you’re out in the ‘burbs.

Bougie: Matty’s Patties, Smashed: Happy Burger, Old school charbroiled: Square Boy (ask for the homemade)

  16. Why has no one said Matty’s patties? That’s my favorite in the city by far.

I’m a big fan of Wahlburgers. There’s one on Blue Jays way. Also Brock sandwich in the Junction makes a really good burger

57 comments and not one saying burger’s priest. I’m not upset, just surprised that they’ve fallen so far in public opinion. Still an extremely good smash burger to me.

Richmond Station was terrible, they put cranberry sauce directly on the bun resulting in soggy nightmare- I have a thing about wet bread texture but regardless it’s Burger 101 not to do that.
