ETA: I looked at the rest of the menu as well as some photos online and would have liked to go there. It has some classic bistro fare that I love and the photos make it look to be well prepared (e.g., things are served with classic accompaniments such as the tartare). However, I really dislike a restaurant saying they think I SHOULD make reservations but then only taking phone reservations and also stating they sometimes won’t answer their phone even during their open hours.
For God’s sake, either just don’t take reservations at all or give me some way to make them that doesn’t rely on playing phone tag.
Also the rest of their website is fucking weird—photos and descriptions of items or promotions they no longer offer and which have been updated to say that (so why still have this up?) and everything says call for details (why? Just put the details in the page???).
