Yeah Central Market has had eggs in the $3.XX range ever since prices went up. Some of the more premium brands were cheaper than HEB branded ones for a while. Most of the brown eggs are now “expensive”, but these white ones from Lakeshore remain below $4

Earlier tonight there was a sign dangling sadly in the empty egg cooler at the dreadful Whole Foods up north near REI that read: limit 2 cartons per customer.
I seriously panicked so I’m glad to know they can be purchased for any price elsewhere.
