I’ve posted lists and reviews of my favorite ramen spots in the GTA here in the past and to this day Santouka consistently remains my golden standard for traditional ramen in the GTA. We go here every few months in between our other go to ramen spots, went this past Friday night and once again I’m just blown away by how this hits different from the others. This new location is also super convenient for us and love that they take reservations because if you’ve ever been to the Yonge/Chuch location, you know how busy and insanely long the line can be to get table.
TLDR: 🐐🍜

I recently discovered a new place on google maps, Ultramen in Liberty Village, have you tried? Also Musoshin?

Santouka is like the McDonald’s of ramen. It’s the same consistency always. Japan, California, Toronto, New Jersey doesn’t matter. I salute them.

Toroniku, shio ramen (less salt) has been my go-to for years. Always worth a stop when I’m in the area.

That seared mackerel is amazing at Santouka.

Is it me or do they never get their eggs right?
Mine are always hard-boiled when I order from Santouka, which IMO is a crime for ramen.
