How many have you tried or want to try the most?

I’ve tried arepas, tamales, tagine, halo-halo, odeng, churos, aloo chaat, and banh mi. Sadly I have not tried them in their actual countries, but they were legit recipes! 🙂

  2. tasartir

Trdelník is Czech as much as Durum Kebab is Turkish.

  3. lumiador

Picanha is not a street food… Chart go home, you drunk

    Chili crab isn’t a streetfood.

    And trdelnik isn’t Czech.

  5. As a North Carolinian who has lived in many of these countries for work, I find this list a little insane. So many legit street foods pushed out by foods that I wouldn’t necessarily consider street food at all.

how tf you supposed to eat tagine on the street

this chart is pretty but it’s wrong

I’d never considered that Australia has any street food, but these two are 100% spot on.

  8. Those are some very odd choices for almost every country

  9. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a tamagoyaki sandwich in Japan, though egg salad is pretty popular. And egg salad sandwiches tend to be sold in cafes, convenience stores, and department store food courts, not on the street.

Australian: the jam doughnut MAYBE (very soft maybe), but the snag? The snag is for backyard barbecues or Bunnings, it is absolutely not something you would see for sale regularly here. To be honest, you’re more likely to see someone with a coffee and a Kirspy Kreme :/ Australia has a much bigger cafe and brunch culture than street food.

  11. Crayfish is definitely not a street food in New Zealand, we don’t have any street food here!

Pastel de Nata is not a Street Food… Normally is consumed inside where you drink an Espresso…
