I love that restaurant. Before we had a kid it was my favorite stop for a Saturday afternoon Bloody Mary and a plate of oysters. Really put you in a fun mood.

Extremely good burger, one of the best “restaurant” burgers in LA imo.
My one issue is when I go to Connie and Ted’s it feels like I should get seafood…

I would never have thought to get a burger at Connie & Teds. $19 for a restaurant burger and fries is pretty good. I’ve spent that much on Shake Shack. Shake Shack is good, but it’s still just fast food.

The last time I went to Connie and teds I had three dishes with hair in them… after the second I felt embarrassed and was wondering if my own hair was falling into the food.
When the burger came out and I had a piece of hair sticking out, seemingly cooked into the burger I gave up on them completely.

I got food poisoning at Connie and Ted’s after reading about their burger years ago. When I called to tell them it made me sick, the person on the phone could have cared less. Have not been back since.
