Did a rough conversion, 1,152 THB is around 35 USD.

Bit expensive for a street restaurant in SE Asia, but the dishes look great!

  2. You are correct it is very expensive for Thailand. But you also have to remember that I’m in Hua Hin which is a notorious tourist trap. When I’m at home in Khon Kaen, I would never eat in such an expensive place. For that kind of money I could feed five people.

You paid about 1,000 baht too much.

Oof. I know exactly what kinda place you’re in with those dishes and that price tag.

I miss that morning glory dish so much, can’t find a place that cooks it stateside.

  6. A place that’s right on the beach and overlooks the beach. We actually went through just for the atmosphere. Would not recommend the restaurant too expensive and the food is not that elaborate.

  7. Not sure I paid 1,000 baht too much, but I will agree with you that I paid probably 250 to 300 too much. I know that in Khon Kaen I can get the same meal for about 500 to 550. But you have to remember I’m in a tourist town and I’m a ferengi and they always charge us more.

  8. Yes those morning glories are very delicious. I have never found them stateside. I guess they just don’t know how to eat stateside. Nothing quite like true Thai food, which is something I have never found stateside.

  9. That’s the problem with being a foreigner in a foreign land. They always finesse the ferengue. You have to be very aware of what you’re doing here. They love to tourist.
