In 2012 I had just gotten out of college and moved to WeHo with friends. We ate at this truck almost every other day. The burrito used to be only $4 or $5 and was an essential food group for us. Gotta get back over there sometime, but it’s deep from the westside.

I’ve never understood the love for el chato. the tacos are smaller and more expensive than anywhere else. maybe I’ve just been ordering the wrong things? what’s the move here?

They have one of the best Mexican food from a food truck in la by far
Def my fav food truck for Mexican food, lines are worth it if you ever get discouraged you’ll know ppl waiting there know it’s worth it too
Also one of the few places that has good chicken dishes…a lot of other food truck spots for Mexican food their chicken dishes taste off like it hasn’t been cooked well…they do it right here it’s amazing asf everything.

Honestly my favorite taco truck in LA.
Pre covid they were dirt cheap. Sadly they’re no longer a cheap meal. Still worth it though.
tip: their veggie militas are fire. Your veggie friends will love you.
