> “Today we’re celebrating the opening of Union Station’s Foodie Aisle,” said Alexa Polenz, brand and partnership manager with Union.
> Until Sept. 14, vendors will offer specials like $2 tacos. For every Wednesday in September, the first 25 diners to arrive will receive a free meal.
> The available vendors include a new Union Chicken location, Mikey’s Smash Burger, Grand Tacos Taqueria, Butter Chicken Roti (BCR) and Mean Bao.

It’s funny because they opened this last year and didn’t really announce it except some pole wrap signage in the station.
It was dead – ordered a couple of times as my office is nearby and never saw anyone else there.
They then shut the whole thing, fenced it off, and suddenly the same vendors were upstairs for the patio summer feature. Now… back downstairs!
Hope they do well. Not mind blowing food but decent for Union Station. Nice to have more options.
If anyones looking to try it – it’s a bit out of the way. Not at all connected to the York concourse food court, at least not last I checked. When you get off the subway and enter Union, walk straight past the TD, Sephora, and hang a right after the Decathalon down the hall before the escalators.
