lovely video ! Cafes around here will serve a “Vietnamese style” coffee but i don’t think they use robusta beans, instead a super dark roast arabica bean. Looks so good!
Your video looks great and it’s a good visual for making Vietnamese style coffee with the phin. Usually I put the filter on and then add hot water to bloom. I’ll have to try it your way now! A coffee shop where I live (Michigan) serves Vietnamese coffee and it’s definitely robusta! It’s one of my favorite styles. I get my coffee beans from Nguyen Coffee Supply but would love to try getting green coffee beans from Vietnam and roasting my own. What other drinks are popular using Vietnamese robusta? Egg coffee is also another favorite!
