Bestia was absolutely everything I hoped for and more. I know it’s hyped. But my god is that hype justified.

These all look great and not the usual Bestia options either.

  2. Bestia isn’t hype. It’s been around for a long time and has good consistency.

Next time you need to try the spinach gnocchetti with bone marrow! I make that from their cookbook and it’s always the most raved about dish of the meal.

If you haven’t been yet try Bavel next. Same chefs. Also very delicious.

How much was the bill? Edit* $200. My bad for not reading too far down

Holy cow you didn’t even try the stars of the menu. Yes, Bestia is that good. Cavatelli and bone marrow next time!

The desserts are stellar and never an afterthought. When I have to choose between Bestia and another spot I pick Bestia cause I want to see what is on that dessert menu. I hope you enjoy Bavel, I have not been since they first opened but I recall being underwhelmed and wishing I had just gone to Bestia 😁

Its great food but they DON’T serve vegetables, which is really odd.

Glad to hear all the love for Bestia — I’d always been consistently impressed by them, and I’m not even into the bone marrow and all that stuff they’re actually known for. Other times I’d heard them brought up on Reddit was usually as one of the most overrated xyz.. or whatever. I only ever wandered in off-peak without a reservation, had a great meal, and felt thankful that these folks are such operators that they nail it every damn time.
