Great article but completely missed Ali’s West Indian Roti Shop. One of the oldest restaurants in Parkdale and possibly my fav doubles in the core. They have increased their prices but 2 doubles for under $10 is still more filling than most of the things they mentioned.
Also enjoy the Argentinian style empanadas from El Almacen. Pretty sure a mate in the gourd + an empanada is still under 10 bucks
