I didn’t know they had another location. They opened up on Sepulveda in culver for a minute. But the windows were always blacked put and they had weird hours. Now its a cloud kitchen

I used to live a block from there and went a lot when they first opened. The owners were so kind to me.

haven’t tried EK Valley yet, but I also highly recommend the mole at Madre nearby

Jesus those beans look like hell on a flat plate that way.

Go there all the time! Love that place – been a bit cold lately but will start dining outside once it warms up again – gets really windy on the street

Love the plating!

I used to work right next to EK in Culver. Epi and his wife are wonderful people, barely superseding their delicious food.
Highly recommend their salmon tacos as well as their veggie burrito, but everything is amazing.
They also catered our small wedding. Could not speak more highly of them or their restaurant. Definitely give it a try if you’re in the area.

Why are the rice and beans so far away from each other??

These are enmoladas….not enchiladas with mole.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in LA. I love that you posted it!

I don’t really care for “fancy” mole but this stuff looks pretty damn legit.

One of my favorite hidden gems in the area, a good trick is to ask epy to give you whatever his freshest mole is, they’re all amazing

Living within walking distance of EK has enlarged my body considerably.
