I live a half block away, been going since they opened. Cheap and good yes, amazing quality? no. No avocado, guac, or super high food safety standards. That said – it’s a default for cheap and good food and the dudes are really nice.

***For the price*** El Primo is good.
Brothers Cousins (National/Sawtelle) is my favorite on the Westside if you’re looking for price AND quality. I only get al pastor and chorizo tacos (anywhere, tbh) … not sure how their chicken is but I would guess it is good as well.
