Also got the pastrami reuben (served on Tartine rye) house sodas, and burnt ends. Everything was amazing!

Johnny Fries came with thousand island, swiss, caramelized onions, tasty pastrami bits

This place is so good, ordered it for the first time last week and their Ruben is probably the best I’ve had. And those fries are awesome

Bizarrely – as a taco purist – I think their pastrami taco is one of the best in the whole city

You know, I’ve never seen pastrami cut in cubes. It’s always thin slices or shredded. I’ll check the place out when I’m in the area

LOVE this place. Everything on their menu is so goddam good

I also recommend the smoked fish pasta salad!! The bar next door is extra clutch for a cocktail to go alongside the pastrami dishes

We tried a bunch of items from here and they were all tasty but the pastrami burnt ends were by far the best. I’d make the drive just for those.

  8. This looks like magic. Immediately adding this to my list.

The food is so good but goddamn do I fall asleep after five bites.

The French Dip is my go to.

Johnny’s almost literally brought me to tears when I ate there for the first time. I’m from a place where pastrami is Arby’s meat. I had no idea and it took me 31 years to try a real Reuben.

  11. As someone who lives in Palms/Culver City area, I’m pretty sure that the Johnn**ie’s** Pastrami here only survives beacause it gets confused with this place. The difference in quality is astounding.

That looks really good and the price isn’t too bad either
