Still my favorite bowl of ramen in LA. Damn, they really get it right every time

Still one of my favorite ramen places in Socal. People outside of the area swear I’m trolling when I say one of the best spots is inside of a supermarket food court.

I love their broth, but prefer thin noodles like @shinshengumi’s
Also the price is very friendly consider most places charge $20 for a bowl of ramen nowadays

Special pork, large please.

I remember when this ramen was $7….. After going to Shinsen gumi in the early 2000’s I got kind of sick of Ramen. Then this place re-ignited my love for it.
I have to admit, I feel the quality has gone downhill recently which is sad. The chashu is a bit less consistent. Still it’s way better than so many other overpriced ramen joints popping up everywhere in LA.
Fun fact, I went to santouka in the philippines and it was a totally different sit down place.

This is in my top 3 for ramen in LA. The spicy miso is my go-to though
