  1. Except a lot of the times I’m there, nothing is open. I have a lot of early flights, nothing’s open. Happen to have a late return, nothing is open. The hours on the websites say shops are open from ~5am to 9 or 10pm, but that never actually seems to be the case.

I love that there is a taco deli, a peached tortilla, and lick it up at Ruta Maya. So many good taco choices.

No. Just no. Most airports, like Austin, all of the concessions are licensed by a single company (the airport) and run by airport employees. The food is almost always garbage. The few airports where concessions are run by the actual brands and their employees have much better food. PDX and SEA come to mind.

It’s literally so bad and nothing except for that basic ass sandwich shop is open ( potbelly I think). Garbage airport garbage food

Gotta be worst for alcohol. It’s ridiculous that an airport doesn’t sell alcohol for half the day. And nothing is ever open anyway.

like most Austin restaurants, it seems like it is being reviewed by the aesthetic only. The Austin airport has the worst food out of any airport I have been to. It boasts all of these local restaurants but the airports versions taste like disgusting mush(cough, cough taco deli). The only safe option is Amy’s ice cream

No shit. Have y’all seen the alternatives?

  8. I wish they opened Einstein bagels during the evenings as well. Why is bagel strictly a morning thing ?

It definitely has solid choices and most of the food is really good!

People talking shit have clearly never lived in a city with a bad airport.

Compared to NYC airports, the Austin airport is LUXURIOUS with incredible food and coffee options.
