Has anyone been? How was your experience? Recommend?
I’m a big omakase fan, and I’m willing to pay for excellent sushi — but $680! It’s the most expensive omakase I’ve seen anywhere after Masa in NY.

Damn, it was $500 not too long ago.
Exceptional. On par with top tier Tokyo sushi, the best sushi I’ve had outside Japan (though I haven’t done the top NY spots)
So I was there in early August 2022. Yes, I paid the $680 for the food, plus extra for tea, sake(x4), and tip (what’s 18% on $$$$$$$$ again?). It was my first omakase experience and I can say with confidence that it was damn good. I don’t know if I can ever tell anyone else that it’s worth it, because that’s a personal decision. But then again, people spend a lot more on way worse things (in my opinion….like designer flip flops and stuff.
So “is it worth it?” is only a question you can answer for yourself. It was worth it for me.

But I truly enjoyed myself. Had a once in a lifetime experience and meal.
