Not a single one of these restaurants is the sort of place I’d normally eat at.
But since I’ve got this GC burning a hole in my pocket, which one is the “best”?

Harvey’s. Just barely. Not the same back in the day

I haven’t been to all of them but I would say the landings aren’t too bad and I’ve heard good things about Fionns, avoid east side Mario’s at all costs lol

I received one of those too and used it on Kelly’s landing at university/front. Comes in handy if you want to save it for a time you’re attending a game/concert/show downtown and get some dinner and drinks beforehand. I’d also say it’s the best quality of those options in terms of food

Nashville hot chicken sandwich from Swiss Chalet. I was pleasantly surprised!
NYF is much better bang for your buck than, say, Kelsey’s.
Hunter’s Landing or Kelly’s Landing if you’re downtown and you just want to use up your GC. Not great, but not totally awful either. Just regular generic fast casual stuff.

Haven’t been to a Bier Markt since it was absorbed by this restaurant group, but it used to be pretty legit so that would be my vote.

Harvey’s poutine is reasonably passable for a non-Quebec offering. I have a stack of those cards and that’s the only place I use them.

It is interesting how many of these have zero presence in Toronto’s core. Montana’s, Kelsey’s, East Side Marios, State & Main, Fionn Maccools, even the pickle barrel. They’ve fully decamped their table-service restaurants to the suburbs

Grab a bowl of pho or something then go to Bier Markt for drinks (or do the same thing in the opposite order).

Well how much is on card? $30, $50, $100? Can’t say no to double leg, Caesar salad and sauce. I could try Canadian Olive garden again. Or like other posted just use it all on drinks at Bier Market!

Heads up – Fionn’s no longer accepts Ultimate Dining GCs! I found out last week when I tried to use it at my local Fionn’s.
