Got the rec from all of you! Absolutely loved Descendant. Got the Gat Daddy and Truff Guy (Gat Daddy by far the best of the 2). Let me know if you think there’s a better detroit-style place or if I should’ve tried a different pizza

If you like pineapple on pizza, the electric avenue is fantastic…get extra hot sauce though, the portion you get on the side is about half the size you want, IMO.

Perhaps this is a dissenting opinion, but I preferred the Detroit-style from Detroit Pizzeria at Dupont & Bathurst.

  3. We got the Truff Guy and the Vegetarian Sri Lankan one (w kottu roti + sambal on top). Between those two, preferred the Truff Guy. Great use of beautiful caramelized onions.

Love Descendant. Has anyone tried Slow Hand which recently opened relatively nearby?

Well done. I think I was in on that rec. The place is awesome. Of the other notables, the only other unique one I’ve had is Maker Pizza. Libretto, queen Marguerita and North of Brooklyn are all really similar, but enjoyable. Bitondos is legendary, but overrated.
