  1. As much of a boondoggle as A La Cart was, I can see the reasoning behind it. They wanted to have food-handling/food-safety procedures applied to food carts (which hotdogs were exempt from), and wanted a streamline way to make sure everyone had running water, cold/hot storage, etc via a standardized cart (rather than requiring inspectors to certify every cart that ppl bring).

it’s all fun and games til ptomaine arrives

yeah let’s let everybody just sell what they want without regulation, that’s the ticket

    Toronto the good!
Couldn’t shop on Sunday until the 90’s.
    bass awkward

  4. All is good until people get sick from unregulated vendor and start blaming city for not properly enforcing health codes.
City already gets sued for people tripping over fallen tree branches in parks.

Toronto needs fruit vendors. Love being in LA, walking down yhe street and getting a red cup full of freshly sliced watermelon and mango

How about no? The gasoline power generators that get used are a nightmare for environmental issues.

  7. I suspect a spike in Toilet paper demand if outdoor food sales is passed in T.O. I’ll be buying Charmaine stocks!!!!
