In this video I will give you a full garden tour focusing on the vegetable garden in our mediterranean garden, our English cottage garden and our tropical garden.

❤ this is the way my garden looks all the time, except for the lushness. The Mediterranean garden is missing the thorny trees the goats eat. Humans can’t get near then, but they are everywhere in the islands
do every 6 mo.
We have freezing weather, the only thing coming up is the Spinach. Everything else ? Nothing is coming up. We are having another week of very cold weather till next Sunday-Monday. What am I supposed to grow. It’s miserable out.
Wow! It is Spring. Thank you Jesus. How do you keep the weed from growing? I like your potted and raised Garden. How do you conserve Water? May I have answers
What vegetables would you plant in a 6” bed vs 12”?
Hi Brain, thanks for your great videos. I have started my tomato plants in cups as per your method. I wouldn’t do this any other way!! My seedlings are still indoors and are experiencing leaf curl. Also, the under side of the leaves are very purple. Is this due to lack of nutrients? Please help! Thank you
The open space that you’re not sure what to plant, the artichokes will fill in. 🤩😂
I would like to know, in areas outside of the raised beds, how do you deal with weeds/unwanted grass?
I follow you because we are in similar zones. You can start planting about three weeks before me. So a WHAT TO PLANT then maintenance.tips/tricks at the beginning of the month. I am zone 9a.
Nice tour, your turnips look good. They will get woody if you leave them in too long
What a beautiful area, gardens are a work in progress. Your views are gorgeous
Love seeing the progress you’ve made on your property. Thank you for sharing!! Blessings❤️🌺
Brian, before you create your Japanese garden, you must visit the one in Portland, OR, if you haven't already. You will be so inspired. My favorite time to visit is in the fall… truly stunning!
Your espalier video has inspired me to make an apple fence between the two houses on our property! It will not be this year but next, I'm thinking. Also, I just wanted to thank you for your content and enthusiasm!
Love watching…thanks! Can you fill me in on the type of drip line in your veggie garden? 😊
How is your water catchment system working?
I was wondering will you be selling your vegetables and fruit somewhere? Enjoy your videos. We live in the same area so love to see what is growing in your gardens.
Your gardens are wonderful! I wish I could do that but it's just too overwhelming for me to take care of all of that! Do you grow all your flowers and veggies and herbs from seed? Or do you buy some plants? Wonderful gardens maybe every month month and half for tours everything changes so often. Thanks for this tour
What's gara? Never heard of that before. Glad I can relate. Thanks for the absolute reality. Makes me feel better about my non stop effort for perfection with zero achievement 😂
I remember when you where looking at the "blank canvas" of the property feeling overwhelmed with how much there was to do to bring your vision to life. It's amazing how far you've come.
Love garden tour !! ❤️
I want to ask a question ⁉️⁉️⁉️ am I the only one who plants just about everything but only eats a third. I don't know why I seldom bring my harvests to the kitchen and land up feeding my chickens😢 always have great intentions…
I'm new to the channel…where is your location? So envious of the amount of land you have! Thank you for the tour! We grow turnips here (michigan); some for greens, some for roots. They generally take about 50 days. If left too long, roots get a sharper flavor and sometimes, get very fibrous.
The garden is coming along. It's awesome how much you've been able to grow with the amount of rain we've had in CA!! You've definitely been busy. I wanted to tell you that my friend does a container pot at her front door, similar to yours with a plant that grows up as well as a spiller. You might find some satisfaction in a falling plant around the fuchsia plants. My neighbor has an eastern redbud and man is that gorgeous nearly the entire year!! The cottage is so cool. Thanks for the tour. Best of luck with the projects in the coming weeks. 🙂
I think showing each of your gardens separately in separate videos would be a good idea and have the tour at a strategic point in their development which would be your choice. About 7 minutes in length?
It's impressive how much you've acconplished in the time you've been there. You are building a paradise! 🤗
It absolutely amazes me how much you've done since you moved in!!!
I love once a month garden tours to see how everything is growing and to see anything new you've planted/are planting! Sometimes I have unrealistic expectations about all things gardening because I'm still new to it, so seeing that, no, you're not picking tomatoes yet helps me to chill. 😁
Mediterranean garden needs an olive tree in that space😊
Perfect thank you😊
bahahaha I never do any of those 'P's before I do a tour. 🤣
Plastic snakes. Plastic snakes. Plastic snakes. Did I mention using plastic snakes as a deterrent to birds?
If you mince the garlic and mix into olive oil then place into ice cube trays to freeze you'll get perfect 1 TBSP. minced garlic with oil. You can remove them from the trays once frozen and store in freezer bags in the freezer.
Everything is looking so good!
