    “Salad”

Lol does look excellent though. Very clean.

It’s an interesting selection! No pudding but a huge wodge of halloumi and a ramekin of hummus? Not a bad trade! But I’d also like to talk about the plate – it’s so rare that we see a fairly big fry on a plate that has enough room. No crowding here! Nice fry!

I am personally of the opinion that this has veered too far from the traditional ingredients to be considered a fry-up.

Sausages/bacon/egg/toast are traditional and you can make an argument for hash browns, but they’re a relatively recent inclusion thanks to the Yanks. But humus, salad and halloumi means at least 29% of this plate isn’t what you’d normally expect to be in a fry-up. That’s just a little too high for me. Furthermore, the absence of fry-up mainstays like mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, or black pudding compounds this problem.

My conservatism, of course, is reflectively only of my opinion. I in no way mean to diminish the deliciousness of your breakfast. But that’s no fry-up.

Your biggest surprise was a salad, when you literally have a fucking bowl of hummus with your fry up?

Is that one sausage cut in half? It looks like a great feed not strictly a fry up but nice all the same

Excellent rationale given the high standard of the other victuals.

  7. One egg. One hash brown. One slice of halloumi 1 bacon rasher and 1 slice of toast. 1 sausage pretending to be two! Double up on the eggs at the eggs at the very least! A bit underwhelming re portions.

Looks really nice! To me personally, I think the size of the plate makes it look a bit too empty. That’s not a tiny fry up, but the plate makes it look like it
