Top line: How in earth did this get a Michelin star?
Honestly went in with low expectations. Didn’t even really meet those.
Food: Forgettable. Everything’s presented and plated pretty (although its all ‘for the gram’) but nothing was actually delicious except for the pickled cucumbers and the rice bowl at the end.
Service: Awful. They seated us 30 mins after our reservation time because they literally apologized for forgetting us. They rushed us through the first half of the meal by bringing like 5 courses nearly all at once. We’d get one bite in and then they’d bring the next one complete with explanation etc. We asked if they could course it out a bit more and then it took 45 minutes to bring out the raw meat to grill. I mean it was all pretty comical.
Space: sprawling and weird. Located in like a completely empty lobby with no signage in the Inter. Feels like it belongs on sunset Blvd. Some weird setups where some tables are communal but some arent. Have one of those robo waiters running around randomly.
Edit: they don’t have a star but how they’re even recognized is beyond me.

It doesn’t have a star. But I agree, grossly overrated. It’s meant to be shown off on the gram.
