  1. Should never have won the star. Place is exceptionally mid.

I ate there alone once. Was not dressed as a business dude. Basically ignored unlike the movers and shakers who were there at lunch doing the big deals of the week.

Chicken was cold and pink when I tried it. Asking for it to be reheated was a major inconvenience for my eye-rolling server.

I had no idea this place has a star, and cannot believe it got one. Unless one star means “pretentious and rude”.

I did give it a second chance, and had basically the same experience.

This place was incredible before the star. Like, legitimately the best restaurant within 20 minutes. But holy shit did they fall off a cliff after they got it.

This guy way loved dill. I chatted with him and he had no idea of the cultural significance of dill in Eastern European cooking. Oh and I hate dill

The service was really awful when I went a few months ago. The food was good but nothing I couldn’t make at home.

These comments are wild and why I have lost much faith in this sub to recommend restaurants. Every time I’ve been there the food has been exceptional and so has the service…the mandatory 20% tip on the bar bill at old man’s bar now tho…travesty.

Always had great food here, but the worst service.

Didn’t know this had a star but also shouldn’t have read this thread today as I have a reservation tonight… I haven’t been out to a restaurant like this really in a few years except a few patio / rooftop situations because of covid so still trying to look forward to it
