This is the best lomo I’ve found in LA so far. The beef was perfectly cooked and super tender, the sauce was well balanced and had good wok hei, the fries were crispy, and even the rice was good. It reminded me of the best lomo places I visited in Peru 🇵🇪. Just like most of the food establishments I found in Peru, this place is a nondescript, no-frills joint that puts out stunning dishes. Their seafood plates looked better than most of the fancy restaurants I’ve been to in LA. Even the complimentary bread was good. And the dipping sauce they give you with the bread is fucking incredible. I wanted to pour it all over my body.

I went there last week, so fucking bomb. Kinda disappointed they didn’t have aji de gallina but everything else made up for it.
Is this better than Mario’s?

Regular looking restaurant with AMAZING food, my favorite kind of place!
Love me some Lonzo’s!
I’m half expecting LaVar Ball to be a regular there.
That looks amazing! I get my lomo saltado from pollo Inka in Carson. So delicious 😋
That looks almost JUST like the Lomo I make! Glad to see I’m getting it right.
lobster guac and chips + arroz con mariscos <3
I’ve been meaning to try Lonzo’s for years. Hearing that the beef is tender is exactly what I needed to know.
Yummm what is that Cuban food?
Nice version of lomo saltado, just one tip: you have to flame the meat and the onions before put the rest of the veggies.
Chio’s in the Val is pretty good- we like the Woodland Hills location
I really liked this place. It was solid. I definitely need to go back!
