    The crab brains are the brown part? How does it taste? Does it have to be heavily spiced?

    Not sure why it’s brown colored but I imagine this is as delicious as the creamy and rich orange head butter that’s in shrimp/prawns/crawfish.

    Those aren’t crab brains.

    It’s “crab miso” (カニみそ) or “tomalley” in English, which is really just guts aka liver and pancreas.

    Due to high temperatures, a can with dog food exploded in my garage. The meat came outside, spoiling for two weeks and attracting larvae. Let me tell you, the two week old rancid meat paste looked exactly like this
