  1. G’day Robbie & Gary, loving your peaceful hummingbird videos. I’m an Aussie & went to ask for collard plants at my nursery and they shook their heads. Surely, these aren’t only available in the US! Mystified 🤔

  2. I was in awe of one while looking at plants at Home Depot here in San Antonio, TX! He wasn’t the least bit concerned that I was standing only about 3 ft away. So beautiful!

  3. I saw one in my flower patch last week and I didn’t know what it was. At first I thought it was some sort of bee. I looked online and found it. I wonder if it lays eggs in our veggies

  4. I just saw one the other day for the first time. I had to look it up it was so small and didnt move like a humming bird. My dog and I were within a foot of it. Ya…. were getting wild life back!! Woop Woop!!🦋🌱☮

  5. We have them here every year. It seems like they are early this year. They are beautiful 😊

  6. We get them but not as large. We call ours hummingbird moths. Thanks for your video. We are still too cold at nights for planting certain flowers and vegetables. Very beautiful video.

  7. I had one of those buzz me one evening while I was watering my butterfly garden, I screamed because I thought it was a bat!🦇

  8. I was actually going to ask if you ever had any in your brilliant & inviting garden. I had a couple during our triple digits in MT last season. Thanks to watching a video that TDtangents had post of one in flight…I became educated on my lobster-tailed friends. <3, ~ Covah

  9. I just saw this on an Attenborough documentary. It is so cool. I’d never heard of that moth before. It really does move just like a hummingbird.

  10. Hi Robbie,
I am enjoying all the information about hummingbirds and gardening that you share! What are the tall yellow flowers that the Sphinx Moth is feeding on? Regarding the hummingbirds leaving, I feed them also for about 15 years and for the past 3 they have left during April and May until about June. I couldn't figure out why but you have explained it and it makes sense. There are so many flowers now in the hills for them to nourish themselves on. Thank you for your insight! Linda Blessing

  11. Hi Robbie, I forgot to tell you that I am due North of you in Santa Clarita! I have fewer hummingbirds than you have but that is okay, I couldn't handle any more! In the evenings before they left I had fifty getting their last licks before roosting for the night. Linda Blessing

  12. They are extraordinary! They are a wonderful surprise when they show up.❤ Thank you for the special movie❤👍
