Hey all. I am a big snacker, and it seems snacking is one of the hardest things to do healthily!

What are you favorite snack recipes? Or what do you usually snack on (even if it isn’t homemade)?

My go-to’s are these two, but I eat them so often I’m getting sick of them:
1. Peanut-oat-date bars

2. Hummus (made with half the tahini called for, you can also leave out the oil since tahini is quite oily itself)

  1. Chickpea blondies, dates stuffed with peanut butter, popcorn.

I’ve been pigging out on these brownies:

Two cups of oats ground to make flour
2 1/2 cups of date paste
    1 cup of cacao powder
    2 tsp of vanilla
    2tsp of baking powder
    2tsp of baking soda
A few Dairy-free dark chocolate chips, or 1/2 dairy-free chocolate bar chopped and sprinkled on top. (I use Guittard)

    Preheat the oven to 350

I use a blender to mix everything except the chocolate chips.

Spread the batter into a 9×13 pan, sprinkle with chocolate and bake for 30 minutes

I think these are super sweet as-is and my non-WFPB husband likes them too. My kids think they need more sweetness, so you could add a cup of date sugar to make them extra sweet.

I don’t eat snacks because there is no room. If you’re eating a proper diet, you won’t need snacks unless you get caught off guard and miss a meal time or something.

The daily dozen calls for 3 medium sized pieces of fruit daily. Start there.

  4. cazmantis

I make trail mix – pistachios, walnuts, cashews, banana chips, raisins. Whatever you like really 🙂

Popcorn sprinkled with nutritional yeast OR a drizzle of date or maple syrup and cinnamon!

Sliced apple with cinnamon and almond butter.

Frozen or fresh cherries topped with hemp seeds and coconut flakes.

Homemade oil free granola – I [posted my recipe here](https://www.instagram.com/p/Cr0u5ziu55o/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=)!

    Hope this helps!
